Whatâs a book you would recommend for someone whoâs trying to get into reading within that genre? I honestly want to switch between genres depending on my mood, but I also wanted to incorporate 1/2 nonfiction books every month.

I've seen a few posts where the audience is assumed to be American and it made me curious about how many users are actually American? Objectively speaking it makes sense that the majority is but I wish there was a statistic for it (just out of curiosity).

I heard so many good things about this book and I was really excited to start it but after half an hour I couldn't take it anymore. I've seen a lot of reviews stating that the first half of the book is slow and unnecessary, but that wasn't even my problem. The writing style almost aggravates me. It's written in a "quirky coming-of-age-movie" style, I can't really explain what annoys me so much but I literally get mad reading it. đ sentences like "but she loved this smoothie slurping idiot" or "irony freezes in this place just like everything else.." I dunno, maybe I expected a more serious/mature book, since I went into it blind, simply going off the stellar recommendations from book bloggers I normally agree with, but maybe it's just meant for teens/ya? Not me me definitely. Also don't feel like gritting my teeth throughout the first half just to maybe read a good plot told through insufferable analogies đ
