Has anyone had the issue of not paying as close attention to a book when they listen to the auiobook instead of reading it? Sometimes I'm lucky enough to score both of the ebook and audiobook from the library, and sometimes I'll find myself saying "What?" or "Who?" later on when I'm further in the book because I zone out while I'm listening to the audiobook. I only listen to the audio books on my way to and from work, so that may play a part, but I've missed entire characters being introduced before.

Sometimes I go and check to see what my mutuals are reading and then get worried for them when I see they're reading 4+ books. Like twin HOW are you doing that are you okay💔

asked my partner this question and they could not relate, so I’m putting it out into the world:
does anyone else feel like when you’re reading a really good book and you have to put it down, the characters are waiting for you to get back? because they want to continue in their storyline?
i mean, it’s not just the feeling of “omg my book is so good, i need to get back so i can know more” it’s this panic that if i don’t hurry up and get back, something is going to happen to them! am i crazy?

I just realized that I’m only a few chapters away from finishing it, and I don’t think I’m ready. This books feels so good to read, and selfishly, I just want for the story to go on. It’s also my very first cozy fantasy read (discovered this genre after joining Pagebound), and I’m already wondering what should be my next read to preserve this feeling of cozy escape in the end of my days. I’m currently set to pick up “A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping” as it seems to be the sequel? For those of you who read a lot of cozy fantasy, what would you recommend?

This is so perfect and cozy!!! I am loving this world - my first time reading a seasonal readalong book and it’s amazing because I don’t think this is a book I would have picked for myself. Thanks PB 🫶🫶
