I thought it would be kind of fun to see where in the world people are, and then folks can make friends with people from the same countries/areas (if they way, not pressure obviously).
I'll go first. I'm Canadian, and more specifically I am in British Columbia (Vancouver Island if you want to get fancy).
Try to find your country and join that thread!
Everyone else?

hello fellow readers, white person here ! iâm on a mission to better educate myself on racism. iâm working through the feminism without exception and justice for all quests for books that touch on racism, but i wanted to see if anyone had any specific suggestions. iâm looking for literally any book, any genre that will help me understand what itâs like to be a poc/woc and/or how i can be a better allyâanything that will better educate me (:

[M]y coffee is Blue Mountain and I drink it black, which is unusual for a teenage girl, but it's definitely the way good coffee should be drunk if you have any respect for the bitter bean.
Preach it sister!

I feel like every reader I talk to has a different definition of âcozyâ! đ I think about the discussion of The Spellshop and how some people got stressed out because the stakes went up⊠or how since it included political and societal collapse itâs NOT cozy at all. Iâve even heard it to describe books like The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi and others I would NOT define as cozy at all.
I wonder if some people mean âwhimsical,â or others mean âlow-stakes,â and still others mean âfun.â
At this point Iâm not sure how I would define âcozyâ đ Help me out here! What is âcozy?â
