3âď¸ Story 4âď¸ Narration
I went into this book blindly only knowing Elizabeth Rodriguez was the narrator. As a native Californian, I think there was definitely a lot of inside joke/iykyk moments that went over my head about Brooklyn, New York culture. This book struggled to hold my attention at times which was compounded by the disconnect with New York references. This was my first book by XĂłchitl GonzĂĄlez. Would I read again? Iâd be willing to give it another shot once I have access to an ebook or print copy.
