have been so excited to get my hands on this series since it was announced and i devoured it like a rat on a Cheeto 🤤

I have always enjoyed every single Sadie Kincaid book, and my gosh, this one was no exception!

Sadie reeled me in years ago, when Dante made his appearance 😍 and I have devoured everything shes written ever since!

Sadie always knows how to create these gorgeous mafia men that will do anything to protect the ones they love - and my god if it doesn’t make my chest hurt!

Enzo & Rayne are perfect! Although their story is sad and has trouble and a LOT of trauma, a break up and deception, they still manage to bring it back around.

The trauma Rayne endured is enough to break anyone’s little black heart 💔 Enzo and the relationship with his brothers was so lovely and they support each other so well.

I’m so glad Enzo & Rayne got their happily ever after 🫶🏻

I cannot wait for the next book in this series! As usual Sadie, its been a pleasure to ARC read for you 🫶🏻

Holy sh*t this book was crazy! I’m no stranger to this f-up stuff but this author was mentioned to me, and me being a curious kitty, I thought I’d have a bash at it.

I picked this read at random from the authors website and dove straight in.. blind.. no regrets.. none. I ate this up. Devoured.

I’ve never read anything from this author before, but came highly recommended, and sweet baby Jesus, it was a ride. I was certain through reading that i thought i knew where it was heading.. every time i thought I’d got a grasp of it, the plot twist was twisting and I was spinning 🤯

I knew people had their kinks (don’t we all) but even this had me going 😳😳 “erm.. you’re putting what where? Mate really?” Still didn’t make me stop reading though! I was invested.

A butcher cannibal and a dude with mommy issues and a massive foot fetish 🫪 erm WTF?? Some serious serial killer vibes going on here. Dahmer would be proud 🤣

This read is pretty out there, so make sure you check your triggers, kittens! This read is not for the faint of heart or if you’re squeamish.

Well oh my gosh! This read actually made my chest hurt 😭 The rollercoaster of emotions i went through while reading this has left me feeling bereft.

Blue in the deep blue sea absolutely shattered me and left me broken in the best possible way.

A, created a story that touches even the deepest and blackest parts of your heart, mixing all that emotion into a story that has the reader hooked from the very first page. I was completely lost in this book from start to finish.

The journey that Oliver and Gabriella find themselves on is absolutely heart breaking and deeper than the sea itself. It was absolutely heart breaking at times and I desperately wanted them to make it and get the ending they deserved, but they didn’t.

As usual, A, you create such a world that every reader gets lost in, the pain is real and raw and sometimes it hurts. Thank you for giving me the honour of being on your ARC team, i adore you so much.

As always kittens, check your triggers before diving into this one, it is heavy and emotional, while you’re at it.. I’d suggest you grab some tissues too 😭🖤

Every turn of the page I was afraid of what happens next. Harls always has us on the edge of our seats in every book and this one was no exception.

This book gives Bates Motel / Dahmer vibes and I was hooked. I was constantly thinking ‘oh what the hell’ and as usual for Harleigh, it never ends how you expect 😆

James our MMC is as unhinged as the patients he’s treating 😳 like WTF? 🤯 This dude has serious momma issues - probably should see a therapist himself 🤣

I also never imagined a book with so much dark themes would make me chuckle! I loved this read and I am so excited to read more from this series by other authors.

Side note - I won’t be making spaghetti bolognaise anytime soon.. or buying some red high heels again 👠

After reading TBWB I scurried to buy part 2 because that cliffhanger killed me and I needed to find out what happens next.

This book will stay with me forever, along with part 1. This is a duet that I will always come back to.

This book starts right where part 1 left off, with Ana being taken back to her abusive POS husband. And after part 1 I didn’t think I could hate Ricky anymore but I was wrong, he makes my blood boil.

My heart was breaking for Ana and what she endured after being captured by Ricky, because it was grotesque. I really wanted to put Ricky’s man-parts in a meat grinder, he made me so angry 🤬

Even though she endures some vile abuse, she never lost hope that she could find a way out and back to Dean 🥺😭

Dean also never gave up hope of finding and rescuing Ana. Their bond and relationship was so adorable and Dean was always her safe space. Her home.

Dean is the book boyfriend of dreams, he never gives up finding her, he would burn the world to find her and keep her safe. He makes her a home and a library with his bare hands 🥺 (husband take notes!)

This book will have you feeling all the emotions, happy, sadness, fury and rage. How the author has the ability to make the reader feel all those things is astounding.

P.S - I don’t think I’m going for a Pap smear test anytime soon 😳😣 I don’t think I’ll be able to look at a speculum the same way again 🤣🤣

I knew this book was going to be amazing from the second I saw the playlist. As a debut novel I was shocked! Like.. how in hell is this a debut 😮

I was fully held captive by Annabelle and everything she endured, her feisty personality and mentality to always survive was fierce! She is definitely one strong FMC, who I adore.

The emotions I went through while reading this was a rollercoaster! I felt sad and upset for Annabelle and the trauma she went through - but the rage I felt for Ricky was enormous! I literally wanted to gouge out his eyes with a spoon 🤬

The cliffhanger on this one made me want to throw my book out of the window. Did I immediately go in search of book 2.. Yep you bet your ass I did!

As infuriating as Ricky made me, I thoroughly enjoyed this read, Ana & Dean’s relationship is adorable, they complement each other so well.

How in holy fucking Hell is this a DEBUT novel?? I was shocked to the core! The plot twists in this read were really freaking twisty! Like now I have bloody whiplash 😳

This one is one dark pretty bitch! This read is can’t See your hand in front of your face kinda pitch black! Did I eat it up.. course I freaking did.. left no crumbs either.

I started off thinking oh this fiancé is a dick.. erm. Dump him.

Plane crash and deserted island.. is this an episode of LOST ?? Okay that plot twist was shocking.. but oh it gets worse.. like holy fucking hell 🫪 it gets worse and you can’t not keep going! It’s like watching an horrific accident and you know it’s awful to witness but you can’t not watch 🫣

The poor and horrific things that Kaelin goes through makes your stomach hurt.. I felt traumatised and angry for her!

The only issue I had with this read was.. what the actual F was that ending? Felt a little rushed and I felt the ending could have been better executed.. Kaelin goes through all that trauma just to be shared between both men? Erm no.. she should have chosen Graham (in my opinion)

Overall thoroughly enjoyed this read! Please check your triggers babes! This one is very hard hitting and could affect your mental health, that being said, I’d read it again 😬 🖤
