I’m really loving Emma’s daily adventures. And all of the eligible men swooning around her while she’s oblivious.
“Don’t think I mind a routine, that’s just what I’m craving. But the right routine. My routine. Two walks a day, several hours of reading, perhaps one visit with someone I enjoy. One dinner or entertainment per week if you must, possibly two, but please let there be reading.”

Another great book. This one takes us 10 years beyond Morning Star. It also switches to multi-POV which I loved. While Darrow is still our MMC, the other POVs really bring in the bigger picture of the impact of the Rising. I looked forward to the other characters perspectives and storylines so much. Of course there was heartbreak, defeat, surprise, great loss and great inspiration.
