Normally I don't know how to rate short stories, but this story added a bit of details that we never got from the first Delirium novel which I would have liked. It was a bit confusing with so little detail in this (since its only 41 pages long) and it jumped from present timeline to past timeline every other chapter. I liked seeing Annabel in her "natural habitat" while comparing it to her state in the prison. I can't wait to read Delirium for the second time knowing a bit more about her mother than even Lena knows herself.

I loved this book even more than the movie adaptation.

This has a mysterious past, violence, illegal racing, taboo relationship (step siblings) and an age gap (5 years-ish).

I wasn't expecting this book to be as cute and swoon-worthy as it was! I loved that our MMC was a romance radio host that fell out of love while helping our FMC find her true love. This was wonderful and amazing.

There was a tiny, understandable third act conflict that felt real and authentic based on the MMC's backstory. I can't wait for more of this series and I will definitely be reading more by B. K. Borison.

This book made me cry several times for these characters! Safe to say, if she writes it, I'll read it. I loved her writing style and can't wait to read more not just from this trilogy but from her other works as well! Ollie and Mia's story was so good and it's just the beginning. Seeing where Mia started to where she ends up (so far) at the end of this book, had such a true aspect to real life and her inner thoughts were sometimes funny, sad, and accurate to many people in this world. I felt for her and Ollie throughout the story.

I liked the beginning and the end but there was too much sex in it for me. All the sex scenes didn't seem to have a point or purpose to the storyline. I loved Teal's character though and loved watching her explore her own feelings/emotions towards Ronan and the others. I can't wait to read the final book in this series which is Cole's book!!!!!!!

I liked this book but didn't love it. It had a lot of similarities with the other books in this series that I got bored reading about their story due to these similarities. I'm excited that I'm officially done with the Royal Elite series and I can see what her other series contain.

I skim read these until I figured out that this is verbatim the exact epilogues following each couple. I thought it was going to be like an extended storyline with a different plot or something.

    Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Part 1: Pet Sematary This part follows a family moving to a new town and meeting his neighbors and settling in as a school doctor. It centers around the family learning about a pet Sematary made by the town kids to honor and mourn their lost pets. It goes deeper into the Sematary and how things aren’t as they may appear at first glance. Things happen throughout this part that make the reader question how it will end and what will happen next while leaving some breadcrumbs throughout that hint to certain things that will happen later in the book.

Part 2: The MicMac Burying Ground This part follows the family during grief. Near the middle, it follows the father and mother separately and sometimes included Jud’s perspective.

Part 3: Oz The Gweat and Tewwible This part follows a slow insanity.

Once I picked up this book, I literally could NOT put it down. I knew it was going to be 5 stars solely based on the writing style alone once I got done with chapter 1. I have never read a military dark romance before and I'm glad I haven't otherwise I don't think I would have given this 5 stars right out of the gate. I would have tried to compare this book to a previous military dark romance but now, every other military dark romance that I read, has to live up to or exceed this standalone book!! I can't tell you the amount of times I wanted to chat to my friends and book club about this book but had to restrain myself because this is after all, one of the books that got picked for June's book club read.

Only read it once through but going to want to go back at some point and reread it and read all of the annotations within. The story itself with S. was interesting and creepy. I loved where it went and can’t wait to see what more I get out of it when I go through and read the annotations.
