Sorry if it's obvious, but I'm new... So, I joined a Quest and noticed that a book in the list wasn't counted because I added an italian edition to my read books (so not the english one as it appears in the Quest). What can I do to make it count as read in the Quest? Do I have to change the edition of what I read to the english one, or is there another way?

An introduction to the Classics, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

I like my castles cold, my moors windswept, and my heroines swooning.

Hi โบ๏ธ
Recently I went back home from college for Christmas and I went into a long marathon of movies that I had on DVDs and I got in touch with a feeling I have missed a lot. I am speaking about movies like Labyrinth, Peter pan, the imaginarium of doctor Parnassus, First Knight, Princess Bride, A Knight's tale, Inkheart, Snow white and the huntsman...
All these movies were quirky, they were silly but they were fun and emotional and I found out I really miss that So for this holiday season I would like to buy my mom a book with similar atmosphere and feeling with this genre.
T Kingfisher was the only author I could think of, Paladin's grace perhaps but if anyone can think of any books that fit the formula of those movies I would really appreciate the recommendations! Thank you very much๐๐

Iโve been thinking about this, and the book that keeps coming to mind is Piranesi. I went in with no expectations, and it completely surprised me. Itโs a book I never wouldโve picked up if it werenโt for some of you here.
Honorable mentions: I Who Have Never Known Men and If We Were Villains. Both are books I also wouldnโt have chosen on my own, but because of the read-alongs, I gave them a chance and ended up loving them.
What about you?
