What is like a monumental, amazing episode of TV that really wedged itself into your brain permanently?
Mine would be Buffy The Vampire Slayer S5 E15 "The Body"

There was a post a day or so ago about how commenting on people's posts in the forum with like "everything isn't as it seems..." or like vague things like that, as well as going back and commenting on your own forum post like "I can't believe I thought this!" Or other similar things, are all still spoilers!
But also, if a book has a movie/tv adaptation and you mention plot points that happen in the movie before it appears in the book, that's a spoiler! If you're rereading a book, and you comment something that spoils something later on (ex "i can't believe i thought character X was dead when i first read it!") That's a spoiler 😭
I'm reading a middle grade fantasy rn and its low stakes but i'm having fun and went to the forum to literally have someone ruin like. A huge part of the book. Like i said it's low stakes but come on, it's really disappointing! There aren't many "reveals" in the book and since it's a middle grade fantasy I can predict a lot of things, but this was something that didn't occur to me which would've been a really fun reveal. I've literally had to report 2 spoiler comments in the last 2 days 🫠

I've been in a reading slump for a week now. Reason? Anime. 😭
I watched Yona of the Dawn last year and then The Apothecary Diaries this week.. finished it within 5 days. Now I can't stop, I'm watching demon slayer & Frieren now. I couldn't even read a single page this week 😰 and I'm freaking out.
But on the good side i think I just found out how amazing anime is 🤩 it all started with some animated series like Blood of Zeus and Castlevania. • So please recommend your favourite anime with a side of romance. (and also a book rec for reading slump)
PS: yona of the dawn season 2 is announced!!! I can't!!! 😭❤️🩹

I am doing a reading challenge (HRCYED), and I am one movie/show away from completing a square, but I cannot find a book that has been turned into an animation that I haven't seen. I have seen most Disney movies, and I just don't have the motivation to watch The Wild Robot. Any suggestions?? I can rewatch it if the last time I watched it was 10+ years ago.

I’m currently really interested in vampire novels after reading “Carmilla” by Sheridan Le Fanu and would love some recommendations :) I also wanted to read “Dracula” because i love the adaptation with Keanu Reeves so much, but since I already have a lot of classics on my TBR, I would especially appreciate some more modern vampire novels ( I already read “My roommate is a vampire” by Jenna Levine so that one is out).

Happy Friday, fellow fiction fans! (I love alliteration).
Drop the first line or two of the book you're currently reading, and let fellow Boundlings try to guess the title and author. If no one gets it by the end of the day, come back and reveal the answer!
A few friendly guidelines: • Keep it to the first line or two only (no spoilers!) • Don’t include the title or author right away • Feel free to add a hint later if people get stuck

Sooo I recently went to a book fair and bought 5 new books (was initially thinking of buying only 2 but since when has that ever stopped me 🙂↕️) and I'm really excited because I've been looking forward to reading these for a looonnngg time! The ones I bought are:
So you might notice me reading these once I finish my current series (ballad of sword and wine) 🎉
Anyway, what are some books from your physical tbr that you're looking most forward to reading? 👀

So, I have a question for you: What’s the most beautiful bookstore you have visited?
Last night I was thinking about bookstores and started to remember the most beautiful bookstores I’ve ever been. When my husband and I visited Las Vegas, we went to a tiny bookstore called The Writer’s Block and honestly? It was so beautiful and cozy, the vibes, the decoration, it’s like a tiny maze and they even had a pet bunny 🐰 I loved it. Also, in Mexico City there are bookstores called “El Pendulo” and most of them are also very beautiful, one of my favorites in all Mexico, they also have restaurants in all of their bookstores and honestly the chilaquiles are BOMB! 😮💨
Oh, there are a lot of new people I don’t know, I’ve been gone lately, so, HI I’m Miawgical (Mia for short) and I’ve been here for a while (the website only era) and I know a lot of people from back there, but now there are so many of you 🧡 So, nice to meet you all ✨

Drop four emojis that describe the plot of your current read.
I want to see if I can guess plots. And anyone else can join in!
No cheating! Honor code here 😎 Guess before you go profile snooping.
