  • The App is live!!

I am over the moon to share that the app is officially live on both iOS and Android!!

We've quite literally poured our blood, sweat and (lots of) tears into the app development over the past 9 months and we could not be more thrilled for everyone to experience it!

We're still being indexed in app store search so you may have to scroll to find us, or type in Pagebound: Social Book Tracker. Here's links to iOS and Android: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pagebound-social-book-tracker/id6751526412 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.pagebound.app

There are quite a few improvements and new features in the app, including:

    • Book Journeys (click the map icon on the book cards in your library and other user's library to see their posts, comments, and updates for a specific book)
    • Quick access to "add to plan"
    • Filtering your activity on profile
    • Save posts
    • upgraded Read Dates editing

This is the first release, so there will be many more additions and improvements to come. (PS for Android users: we're aware of two bugs related to library imports from Goodreads/Storygraph, and issues with editing read dates - these have already been resolved and are pending Google approval for release.)

We owe a huge thank you to our beta testers who worked diligently over the last month to report hundreds of bugs and help us get the app prepared for release. A huge round of applause to them.

We hope you love the app as much as we do; it definitely makes engaging on PB so much more convenient and fun. If you have a great experience with the app, we'd love if you'd consider supporting us through Pagebound Royalty; Lucy and I have worked for $0 over the past year to bring the app and website to fruition, and have been covering business costs with our savings accounts. Your contribution means we can continue to work full-time on Pagebound without influence from investors or advertisers, and keep Pagebound 100% for readers by readers. Thank you so much to all the Royalty who have already contributed; it truly means the world to us and keeps Pagebound online!

ok now go download the app and tell us what you think!

    Happy Reading, Jennifer & Lucy

PS - leaving us a review in app stores also helps tremendously :)

  • Design updates to announce!! (9/26/25)

Hi everyone! We have submitted the app for app store approvals, so it should be publicly available very soon šŸ¤žĀ In line with that, we have some very exciting design updates to share.

A new logo You’ve likely noticed the new logo and Pagebound icon, now visible on web. Since our app and website design are sisters, not twins, we redesigned the logo to tie both together. We won’t be changing the web design to match the app, so you can choose the experience and aesthetic that you prefer. We think each design suits its interface well, while retaining the whimsy and magic that is the spirit of Pagebound.

We also wanted more flexible and beautiful iconography that could work across app, web, socials (and that would look really cute on merch! šŸ‘€), and we’ve definitely achieved that with our new PB icon. We worked with illustrator Mariam Chagelishvili to create it and are thrilled to share that you’ll see more of her work soon…

Updated avatars (with new ones to come) We are excited to announce that we will be rolling out additional avatars for you to choose from—these ā€œavatar packsā€ will be unlocked with each level you achieve on Pagebound. Check out the 2 new avatar options with Level 2 šŸ‘€šŸŽ‰

We’ve always known that as we grew, we’d need more options—lest every single comment come from the ghost šŸ™ƒ. With Pagebound’s rapid growth, we’ve outpaced my ability to keep up with drawing new avatars. I’m happy to share that Mariam has taken over avatar creation and deserves all the praise for the future avatar packs releasing soon as well as the revamp you may have noticed to your current avatar. Through the lens of her own style, we asked her to preserve the essence of our OGs while creating a design system flexible enough to fit new concepts (ps I cannot wait until we release our cute vegetable pack šŸ„•)

We hope you love these visual changes that are a marker of how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown!

This is a reread (the entire series prior to The Secret of Secrets) & I forgot how quickly she moves with the action. Loving this reread as much as the initial read!

  • Rereading Books?

Does anyone around actually reread books? If so, do you pick and choose or have a set method for it.

Personally I only reread my absolute favourites or a series (or the most recent book) to get caught up again if it’s been a while!

My main reread usually is the Harry Potter series at least once a year. I’m also rereading the Robert Langdon books by Dan Brown before reading his newest.

  • Reading Multiple Books at Once?

Just curious - I’ve always been someone who prefers to only read one book at a time. Is anyone else like this? Sometimes I think I’d like to pick up another book while I’m still in the middle of one I’m currently reading, but I can’t convince myself to haha. But I want to! Any thoughts? What do you prefer??

Read this one a long time ago, need a refresher on the series before The Secret of Secrets. Let me tell you, I forgot how quickly these books move, they’re page-turners! A lot of religious iconography in this one, so not my favourite, but still an amazing read.

  • How are you staying active on page bound?

It slips my mind at times because I don’t have an app to just open up. It’s a hassle to constantly log in on the web browser on my phone. How are you all updating this one along with Fable, StoryGraph, Good reads or whatever tracking app you use?
