Probably more like a 3.25 ⭐ if I were to be super specific.

Was this the best book I've ever read? No. Did I have a great time reading it anyway? Sure I did. 

It's a dark retelling of Peter Pan with plenty of smut. The writing was clunky and some things didn't quite add up but you know what I can look past it because I had a great time anyways 🙈😂 

One thing I will say as I don't think I will ever be able to watch Peter Pan again seriously 😂😂

A fun, easy but darkish read.

I am actually speechless. The twists and turns in this book...every time I thought I had it together what had happened Freida chucked in something else that just 🤯😱. Honestly I gasped so many times as I was reading the last 1/3 of this book. 

She had me suspecting every man, woman and child at one point. Personally don't get the hate for this one I absolutely had the best time reading this and thought it was a great end to the series!!!

my only small criticism would be I felt maybe in the middle it dragged a little but honestly that is just a small criticism because it picked up again and pulled me right back in!

This book had me so intimidated. Before starting it I was so nervous. After reading it I can't understand why I let myself put off this book for so long because I was intimidated and nervous to read it!!!

I was worried I would understand it or it wouldn't be for me and I was completely wrong. I followed the book perfectly and loved every moment of it.

Before Babel I had only read 1 R.F. Kuang book (Yellowface) but it's safe to say I'll be exploring more of her work. Honestly I don't think I can really form the words of everything I loved about this book but what I will say if you are intimidated to start it, if you are nervous, don't be! It's a fantastic book!
