After falling asleep on top of the book in an uncomfortable position and waking up with highlighter marks on my cheek trying to finish the last 60 pages, I spent the last two hours of my beautiful morning to conclude volume 6.

I finally finished and I was not disappointed. Even the Afterword filled my heart with joy. I don’t know how this review should be but I’ll keep it light and half of it being spoiler free.

The whole operation, in terms of action, kept me giggling and screaming from beginning to end. Even though I witnessed the death of my favorite pookie and was convulsing last night at the events unfolding in front of me, the whole emotional build up to this scene was incredible.

Shin’s monologues have always been excellent and Asato keeps surprising me by how many layers we keep discovering about him.

I did enjoy we got to see more about the rest of the characters in comparison to volume 4 an 5. Like there was so much interactions that made the whole book balanced with everything going on.

    Well

After falling asleep on top of the book in an uncomfortable position and waking up with highlighter marks on my cheek, I spent the last two hours of my beautiful morning to finish volume 6.

The whole operation, in terms of action, kept me giggling and screaming from beginning to end. Even though I witnessed the death of my wife and was convulsing last night at the events unfolding in front of me, the whole emotional build up to this scene was incredible. Shin’s monologues have always been excellent and Asato keeps surprising me by how many layers we keep discovering about him.

The one bit I will say in relation to SPOILERS:

I am liking a lot the intensified internal conflict of her feelings to Shin and how she ties it back to the Eighty Sector. It felt quite poetic how she comments on how she accepts death to both of them as long they perish in the same place (like in the 86 Sector). Almost like a consolation to her one sided feelings. Honestly, that alone made my perspective of her expanded so much because it add a lot to her character.

May I add, my favorite non empathetic boy deserves to commit any crimes he wants to do. I love him so much. He can do anything unethical and will be there to cheer him on. I need him to develop that nuclear bomb already.

And I will finish this review saying this: I FUCKING KNEW IT. IT IS THE MOTHERFUCKING BLEACHERS. YOU STUPID, IDIOT, SMALL BRAINED PEOPLE. YOU ALL SHOULD DIE NOT SIX FEET UNDERGROUND, BUT 24 FEET UNDERGROUND.
