Currently listening to the full cast audio book with my kids! Everytime we get in the car we play a little more. Car rides have never been more peaceful then while listening to the book! I haven't sat down and re-read the books since I was a kid who waited sometimes years for them to release! I have forgotten so many little details its been amazing to go back and have those moments of 'omg I forgot about that!'. As someone who loves reading and only recently has found an appreciation for audiobooks I can't recommend this one enough. So far its been great! The cast, the sound effects, the music all wonderful. And like I said it keeps all my kids attention....3 boys...10, 7, 3! That alone is review enough! From this Slytherin mom and her Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff kiddos we give it a 10/10 so far and I'll definitely be getting the rest of the series!

The fact that I JUST downloaded this app and IMMEDIATELY came here to say how much I HATED this book says a lot. I was disgusted with so much of it and found it to be repetitive and lackluster to say the least. Then the whole stunt with adding a secret chapter long after it was released to try and do whatever it was supposed to accomplish....excuse the disgusting actions taken against children? The insanely dull spice scenes that any fanfic off AO3 could run circles around? The fact that had this been turned into a horror book might have actually saved it but she chose not to and went with a cliché ending? Idk...all I know is that my curiosity got the better of me years ago when it was being hyped about and I wish like hell it hadn't. Safe to say I will never buy/read a book of hers again.

A collection of the pilot books for popular series, for those of us who love to follow a character's journey for as long as an author will let us! Some of the below series have heavily debated starting points and book read orders--in those cases the pilot was selected based on what seems to be the most popular approach.

An introduction to the Romantasy genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.
