  • Re-reading tips?

Hiya! So, I'm currently planning to re-read the Six of Crows Duology. One of the reasons is bc I have a writing passion project that I'm currently trying to write and Six of Crows Duology is honestly awesome at writing multiple PoVs so I wanna learn from them. So~ do re-readers out there have any tips for me? Bc I can't seem to actually do a re-read (but movies/show is so easy apparently, i'm doing a SPN rewatch rn, all 15 seasons of em!)

Does anyone have recommendations for video essays discussing this book? I'm currently experiencing this weird combination of never wanting this book to be over but also wanting it to be over T^T /pos

I feel like there's so much that I can say—verbally discuss about this book—but I just... can't seem to put it down in writing. I have this urge to write so many things about this book but for now, I'll just say that this is my first Toni Morrison book and I am deeply enchanted by her writing. Her writing is so vivid and graphic but it was beautiful at the same time. I have never read any book that made me stop reading to whisper "wow..." under my breath or made me want to pick it up again after just closing it because I needed a break or even made me physically nauseous. This was such a devastating read, but, at the same time, one of the most gorgeous books I've read.

How do you explain the progression of shutting a book so fast then dissociate then wanting to pick it up and read it again immediately?? I... I need a second
