I really liked this. I listened to the audiobook that was narrated by Andy Serkis himself, and he did all of the voices and it was truly a great experience. There were times where the descriptions were really long, but because I was listening to the audiobook, it wasn’t as dragging, as it would be as if I were reading it myself

This book was OK. I do see why people like it and I did have fun while listening to it! It was a nice pallet cleanser between fantasy novels for me

Again, that’s the same thing for the first one. I read this out of nostalgia. I don’t like that she’s 16 living with 18-year-olds and having a romantic relationship with one of them, but the plot is good. The writing is good. The characters are great and I very much love the overarching storytelling in this entire series.

I’m going to be so real I read this purely for nostalgia factor. It makes me violently uncomfortable that is a 16-year-old child is staying and having a romantic relationship with an adult man regardless of the fact that he is just 18. However, after saying that, these books were one of my favorite series growing up! I think the writing is really good. I think the plot is phenomenal. I think the characters are really well flushed out. It’s definitely worth it’s time.

I don’t even know where to begin with this book. The religious aspects made me wildly uncomfortable but after I pushed through that holy shit was this amazing. Watching her find herself and fall in love while dismantling the system she’s in was so rewarding

This was probably one of the worst books I’ve ever read. I picked it up because I really love the TV show but if you like the TV show, do not read this book. The main character Quentin is incredibly whiny and sexist the entire time. I know him being awful as part of the story because his character development more than likely but geez, is it hard to get through.

If you want something that’s super smutty from cover to cover this is the book for you! I love Katee Robert and this is what got me back into reading a few years ago!
