Hi everyone! Hope your are having a good day. I just want to say, that recently after a bit of an intervention i have stopped buying books, unless it was from a few select authors. Instead i have been focusing on my TBR from books i already own. I had a bit of a shopping problem since i love a bookstore and a shopping trip. I just want to say that reading books you already own, especially in this world of over consumption actually feels amazing, instead of constantly being side tracked with new books i have read books that i bought 4 years ago and never properly picked up! I have read new favourites and i have also found books to either give away to friends or donate. I still own a lot of books and i will still buy books from time to time, but this is for those who get a little bit of a high from buying books (i certinely did) the high from the accomplishement of having a fully read bookshelf is equal to it. Please don't read this as an attack on those who love buying books because its not, this is for those who might want a bit of a change of pace and a push to stop expanding the TBR and get it down a few books.
