If you're looking for me, I might be strolling through the woods (especially on an autumn day), or with my nose in a book... or in the pottery studio, also quite likely!🍁📚🏺

  • reading burn-out

I went through so many books at the beginning of this year (and at the end of last year), that on top of finishing my university degree, I have struggled so much to get hooked on a new book!!!

But as I have finished my degree now, I want to come out of this book-burn out phase, so if anyone has any recommendations of stories that really hooked them from the get go, please recommend them. Currently I'm trying to read Blood Over Bright Haven as I've heard so many good things about it.

  • Recommendations for a celebrant! ✨

Hello hello! I am currently studying to become a celebrant, focusing primarily on weddings for now, and perhaps in the future naming ceremonies, as well as celebrations of life.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations (books with interesting passages or beautiful prose, poetry, authors to look into, anything really!) which could work as readings during a ceremony..? 📚

It doesn't have to just be about love. It can also be about friendship, new adventures, choices, family, found family, looking towards the future... Anything that you find inspiring really!

This might be a big ask, but any direction you can point me in would be amazing! Thank you 🫶
