Fiction by Zionist Authors
Disclaimer: I don't wish to bring hate to any authors, I deeply believe in democracy. However I think it's important for people who hold themselves accountable for their reading choices to have access to the information about authors/books they give their time and money to. These are authors who have publicly supported Israel or middle road. If you notice someone who may have changed their stance recently or supported Palestine and are here wrongfully please do correct me

i'm willing to give this book a star despite the major disappointment i felt because the concept is genuinely interesting. however, just like most of the readers, i was fooled into thinking that this book was a lesbian romance. i don't care of fmc's sexuality as long as there is an on-page lesbian relationship. unfortunately, there wasn't. the romance that occurred was between cinderella and the prince. the usual cinderella story—nothing different. and funnily enough, she didn't even end up with him. but i guess she got to participate in a weird voyeurism scene with the prince and his female partner - without their consent. i guess that's queer enough!

I loved this book! It's such a creative take on the Cinderella story. (I didn't know anything about it before I read it, and I would also have been disappointed if I had been led to expect sapphic romance. But since I wasn't expecting that to be the main plot, I enjoyed the bit that was woven in.)
