I've been thinking on this for a day or two, and I'm curious to know what others think.
When you write a review for a book, do you find it more challenging to write 5 star reviews, or 1 Star reviews? Personally, I find it easier to write reviews for books I hated purely because disdain isn't difficult to put into words.
When I love a book, though... Sometimes I just can't formulate a coherent thought about it. 🤣
Where do you fall? Or are reviews daunting for you to write either way?

(Sorry y'all, but I do not want to spend any more mental energy on this book.)

Flip flopping between 2.5 or 3 stars… leaving at 2.5 for now.
The start of the book was kind of fun, and there were some cute moments. And the FMC mentioned at one point how hot Henry Cavill was which, heck yeah lady I totally agree. But otherwise the MMC a walking talking giant red flag. I wanted to punch him in the face so many times. And I wanted to slap some sense into the FMC too. By the last 20% or so of the book I just wanted it to be over, and I wanted to throttle the MC’s. What a toxic relationship and book ugh.
The audiobook actors/actresses though?!? Excellent job and the way they narrated was exactly how I think all audiobooks should be narrated if there’s more than just one actor/actress!

Ok so Samantha Brentmoore is the narrator for Everly, and at this point she refers to some friends, one named Sloane, and some Kane brothers….
Samantha also narrated for Scythe & Sparrow (Butcher & Blackbird), and there is a Sloane and Kane brothers…
Did anyone else catch this?!? I had to pause and rewind a couple times and it totally threw me off!!
