Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.

Seeking opinions of those who have read the series. I have heard much praise for this (first) book but six is a lot of commitment. Is it really worth it? Can you read one and done if it's not?

I didn't know what to expect when I started this book, but it was a pleasure. It's a comforting book, with humour. An easy read, but well worth it.

I'm not sure what to think of this book at the moment... I like dystopian fiction, but I'm not sure I like the way it's written... To be continued 🤷🏽♀️
