I'm really enjoying this so far. A lot of the other reviews I've seen are true, it's very predictable with somewhat simple prose, and the roman inspired setting does not penetrate into the story like it could (some of the terms are kind of silly sounding honestly). Despite all of this I'm having such a good time with this book, lol. It's an easy read and I don't mind the predictability. I like the 'flashback' or memory portions of the story. I'm connected to the main characters and the side characters, so I'm excited to see where it goes.

This was a cute story but I had a hard time getting invested in them together. I feel like the romance happened so fast and I wanted more yearning or conflict. The dating show storyline did absolutely nothing for me. That whole plot line fell flat which is most of the book. Overall not awful, but not one of those romance books you read and instantly want to re-read to live it all over again.
