could possibly continue to listen to the audiobook as backhoe noise but I felt no suspense, no sense of urgency or inkling of a plot. the villain shows up and he’s the villain…why exactly? read other reviews and felt vindicated. felt like it wanted to be satire but failed. you want commentary on wealth gaps and inequality read Their Vicious Games or I Fed Her to the Beast… this was repetitive and boring

Love StoryGraph to the moon and back but I've seen this site on TikTok, saw my mutual Bri (@bribwriter) talking about Pagebound so I had to see what was going. I do love the layout it is adorable!
