My BIGGEST mistake in reading this book is reading it at home. It needs to be read at a café bc I am HUNGRY reading about all this yummy food!!

Bit different from the film. Wish they'd included the music. There is a nice, subtle transfer of tone from fairy ta or to what we know today as epic fantasy. Birthplace of many tropes. I'll save a full analysis after Part III.

I don't know how many people will be interested in this, but I love giving recommendations even if people then don't actually go and read the book. I love playing book cupid. So if you have any random fact about yourself to share and you want to try this little game, shoot your shot.
I mostly read ya, but I do read adult as well. My top genres are fantasy, horror, thriller; I did read a bunch of romance and contemporary too though.
I don't know if anyone will answer, I'm surely not a book expert, but even if just a few people do, this is mostly so both parties have fun. Then, you might also like the same books I do and this might be useful for you to.
You can add details about the book too, like the genre or specifc things you don't want in it, stuff like that, but please keep it general so I can find a fitting match. In the end, the game is to find a match based on vibes.
Also, if anyone wants to give other recommendations to the comments under this post, you're free to do so. Maybe I'll check them out too.
Edit: Someone asked me to put a fun fact about myself so you can recommend me something too. I moved houses 8 times in my life (to 5 different cities) and in all of them lived at least a ghost (moved for ghost unrelated reasons)

We all came to Pagebound for book tracking, recs, and community. But you know why we're really here : good ol' Spicy Smut ™️. Hence this game. Change a title of a book, this time to give it a little romantic jalapeno flavour. I'll start - The Lord of the Rings : The Polycule of the Ring.

All of these books cross my mind so frequently and when I reread them I remember how much they impacted me on my first read-through. ✨

I hope this post is allowed! It's not overly bookish in theme but I just wanted to stir up some super good vibes and kindness and joy! (I did look through the posting rules but I couldn't find any that really mentioned just....this lol I'm so sorry if I've broken a rule!)
HONESTLY, I'm just up in my feels today! We got 47cms of snow yesterday, and it's -33°c. Most of the town is shut down. I'm very much stuck in the house, which I don't mind because I'm such an introvert, BUT.....I've been on this platform for like a solid 2 hours today just browsing and interacting; I find myself being so engaged and enthralled. I've found more quests, lists and amazing books that I've never even heard of! I've seen some opinions and reviews that have made me feel seen, and some that have made me CACKLE 😆🤭 it's been so wonderful
Pagebound is such a phenomenal space for real bookish interactions and I'm just SO DANG GRATEFUL ☺️❣️
Thank you devs, and thank you Pagebound community!
