I have just finished reading through the whole Earthsea cycle in its proper order for the first time — though I’ve read the first two books more times than I can count, The Farthest Shore two or three times, and until this reread Tehanu only once. Tales from Earthsea and The Other Wind I had read not at all. And now it’s over and I am gutted because I didn’t want it to end. I could read about Earthsea forever.
