Film has always been my best friend, helping me escape the world, and then I discovered reading. If something has compassion and true soul, you can count me in.

I'm going to include this just to give you an insight into Mim. There's a creepy dude she meets on the bus (poncho man). She sees him one morning after the bus stops in a restaurant. This is what's described.

There are 4 tables, each with checkered paper tablecloths. I wait until Poncho man sits, and then pick the table farthest from him. Unfortunately, they're all pretty close together.

"Mim," he whispers, pointing to my hair. He gives a thumbs up. "Looks great." I throw on my most sarcastic smile, give him a thumbs up, and slowly raise my middle finger. 😁

I've never wanted to reach into a book so badly and handle business. I'm so angry right now, time to go for a walk. This one hits me so personally.
