    Ramadan Plans!! 🌙

Ramadan Kareem to everyone who celebrates! 🌙 I hope this month brings us peace, blessings and so much joy !

For those who don’t know, Ramadan starts in two days and is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar. During this month Muslims around the world fast (abstain from food and drink) from dawn to sunset. It’s a time for us to focus on spiritual growth, empathy for the less fortunate and overall self discipline.

I wont stop reading (I have Libby holds) but I wont be reading as much as I need to focus on other things. So my question for anyone who will be fasting this month, what are your reading plans 👀 And what will you be reading? Curious on how people will handle their reading as I tend to neglect mine lol. I guess I’ll be on my Ramadan Hiatus (stole this from @leyaa)

I also need to mention that during this month, I pray for all human beings who are suffering and oppressed all around the world. May Allah grant them peace, strengthen their hearts, grant them safety and mend their broken hearts ❤️‍🩹

    Ramadan 🌙

Tomorrow’s Ramadan!! Wishing a blessed ramadan to all my beloved muslims here 🫶🏻 Do you guys have any reading plans for Ramadan? I tend to focus more on Islamic non fiction books every year. It’s like my little break from the fictional world. But this year I want to do a mix of islamic non fiction and non-islamic non fiction. So far my reading plan (between Feb & March) is:

    Islam/Palestinian Books

    • Perfect Victims by *Mohamed El Kurd
    • Recognizing the Stranger by Isabella Hammad
    • The Eyes of Gaza by Plestia Alaqad
    • Letters to a Young Muslim by Omar Saif
    • They Called me a Lioness by Ahed Tamimi

    Non-Islamic Books

    • The Milkweed Lands by Eric Lee-Mäder
    • When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

I would love to hear what you guys have on your TBR

    Enjoyment: 5.0Quality: 4.5Characters: 4.5Plot: 4.5

Days after reading and sometimes scenes pop up in my head and I get scared, so as a horror book, the premise definitely worked for me 🫣🫣😳 The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I need a lil bit more crumbs for answers 😭
