So shock and awe, i agree with others here. Women written by men. Bisexual stereotypes. I'm not like other girls! I've lived a thousand or so years, and have never moved on from unconsolably horny and random XD. Like i don't even care what happens in the next books. Davi annoyed me more than anything. Im not biphobic. I am bisexual myself, but jesus i dont look at everything and everyone on the earth thinking how i can get laid. I dont even do that in a fantasy or video game context, which this book would imply changes things. Did i try to ignore it and just have fun? Yes. Did it get much less fun when it became clear she wasn't going to die? Yes.
Not in any way that mattered too much. Besides the unlikeable MC, it was.... Predictable. Foreshadowing that hit like a ton of bricks. Literally a ton of bricks joke. Complaining and side comments about actions, and jokes. Was not my cup of tea. But I know it is someones.... i guess

Ok so, i binged it. 2 days. 17 hours. Brother. I think that goes to show how much I enjoyed this story. I will be reading the series. Characters are well rounded and their actions speak of age and experience. Mistakes happen. Violence, trickery, magic, and so much more... I will say I am influenced by scratching an itch I had recently. I wanted to finish 1001 Nights- i really did, I jusy couldn't stand all the... racist context and misogyny. This scratched the itch perfectly, while also fueling the queer fire that burns in my heart. Oh also Payasam. 5 stars alone for that cat.

a few weeks ago someone made a post about ruining book titles by changing one word, and this combined with my current read has inspired this post hehe so ruin a trope by only changing one word >:))) iâll start: instead of only one bed thereâs only one toilet đ
