This follows Taran and Quinn, who share a complicated history that spans decades. From high school sweethearts to a heartbreaking breakup, their past feels long behind them. But now Taran is back in town, and while she tries to avoid him, Quinn is determined to take any moment he can get. The question is can they finally work through their past?

This was such a suspenseful, emotional, feel good read. I’m a huge fan of soulmate stories, and Taran and Quinn’s journey was such a whirlwind. You could really feel the hurt, pain, and lingering love between them, especially given everything they went through from high school sweethearts. It’s a character-driven story with a touch of suspense that keeps you hooked, just waiting for the moment they finally find their way back to each other. I also loved Quinn’s kids, Heather and Angus. Their dynamic felt so real the bickering, the attitude, the classic “teenager who knows everything” energy. It added such a great layer to the story.

I didn’t expect the reveal of who was behind the suspense plot, but it made sense looking back on it.

Lastly, I recommend the audiobook Shane and Mhairi did a fantastic job. The only thing I’ll mention is that the Scottish accents took me a little time to adjust to. I had to slow the speed down at first and did find myself backtracking during the first 25% just to make sure I was following everything. But after that, it really clicked, and the listening experience became much smoother.

I really enjoy Samantha’s emotional writing, and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

This follows Kennedy, a journalist who’s just been fired from her job. She decides to head back to her hometown for a high school reunion and stay with her best friend, Devon, for a few weeks while she figures things out. They’ve always had a crush on each other but have never crossed that line. But what could possibly go wrong with them being in such close quarters?

I loved this one, it’s definitely my favourite in the series so far. It’s a quick, easy, feel good read that had me laughing and completely invested in Kennedy and Devon finally giving in to the feelings that have always been there.

One of my favourite elements was the focus on physical touch as a love language and the flirty teasing. It was so sweet and added such an intimate layer that felt like soulmate energy. Also those full circle moments at the end? I was screaming.

Lastly I loved the audiobook done in dual narration! Highly recommend experiencing it in this format.

I don’t want to say too much since it’s on the shorter side, but I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series!

This follows Dahlia, who’s had a very stressful day handing her daughter over to her ex while also dealing with her father constantly pressuring her about her role in the family business. As she boards a flight to make it back in time for a work commitment, she doesn’t expect to meet Dylan the man who quickly becomes completely head over heels for her. But what happens when they discover who each other really are?

I loved this character-driven story with a touch of plot, it might even be my favourite in the series so far.

I don’t usually gravitate towards love at first-sight or insta love, but I completely devoured this. The way Willow wrote these characters gave such strong soulmate energy, and the accidental meet-cute was so well done. Dylan is an absolute cinnamon roll, and from the moment they met, he was completely hooked. I loved his fun, playful side with Dahlia, and the way he was so sweet with little Chloe just melted me.

Dahlia is such a beautiful person who hasn’t had the best luck with men. The way she’s treated by her father and ex was heartbreaking. I really felt for her. She’s kind, a wonderful mother, and truly deserved so much better.

For most of the book, it felt like these two were in their own little love bubble just enjoying each other’s company and making the most of their time together. I found myself smiling the whole time and completely rooting for them.

Lastly I highly recommend listening to the audiobook. Its duet narration and Isabelle and Austin are brilliant. I’m a big fan of Willow’s work, and I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series.

This book was absolutely brilliant and worth the hype it gets. This is a character driven story that explores two people learning how to love and trust, all while hiding behind a friend’s with benefits agreement . I loved how feisty and strong Emmy is, but we also get those moments of vulnerability where her past really comes through. It was great to see her team had her back.

Maverick is honestly one of my favourite MMCs this man had me weak. He’s playful, confident, and so much fun, but it’s the way he makes Emmy feel that really stands out. The things he says and does for her were just beautiful. I’m a sucker for a good declaration of love, and this one absolutely delivered I definitely got emotional. When Maverick opened up about his past, his fears, and his need to feel wanted, it completely got me. I loved their chemistry, and the spice was so well done.

Lastly, the audiobook is phenomenal. Laura and Adam did such an incredible job bringing these characters to life this is definitely one you don’t want to miss in audio.

I can’t wait to continue the series and dive deeper into the other characters we got glimpses of in this first book.

I loved watching Birdie and Walker fall in love. This man was so down bad for her it was wholesome, sweet, and had me smiling the entire time. Birdie has such a beautiful spirit and would do anything for an animal in need. She’s innocent in the most endearing way, and I loved those moments when she got flustered when trying to express herself to Walker. It was brilliant watching her become confident and feel safe.

Walker is the ultimate book boyfriend. I melted every time he said “Birdie baby.” The way he guided her, supported her, and showed up for her every step of the way had me completely swooning. And the little things he did without Birdies knowledge just made me love him even more.

These two are honestly perfect for each other.

I always enjoy Ann’s stories they’re the kind that make you feel good while still taking you through a range of emotions. I’m looking forward to her next book.
