Wow, this was my first Paisley Hope book, and I’m obsessed. This was such a deliciously dark and suspenseful read. I was completely invested in the revenge plot and couldn’t wait to see how it would all play out and it definitely delivered.
Starting with Mia she’s such a bratty little firecracker, and I loved every moment of her challenging Aiden. Their back and forth felt like foreplay at and it was incredibly entertaining. I admired how strong and determined she was in going after the truth. Aiden is a powerful character an ex Navy SEAL and now president of the Disciples of Sin Motorcycle Club but he’s changed the club since taking over. What Mia thinks she knows about him isn’t what it seems, and I really enjoyed seeing those moments unfold. His inner thoughts when it came to Mia were everything. The spice was so addictive. There were so many scenes that were intense, filthy, and absolutely delicious. These two are perfect together. The story also explores some darker, heavier topics, which I personally enjoy because it adds that raw emotional depth that really pulls me in.
I will say, while I enjoyed the spice overall, primal play isn’t my favourite. The first scene worked for me, but when it came up again I felt like we already done it. That’s more of a personal preference I sometimes find it a little unrealistic depending on how it’s done. I was also a bit thrown by the name usage. Emilia goes by Mia, but Aiden calls her Rhiannon, which I assume is her club name. While I understand the purpose within that setting, it did frustrate me a little that he continued using it outside of the club. I just wanted him to call her Mia. Again personal preference.
Lastly, the audiobook was fantastic. Jason and Samantha are such a great duo, and I highly recommend experiencing this one in audio.
I definitely want to go back and read or listen to the earlier books in the series. I’m really looking forward to picking more up of Paisley’s work in the future.

Wow for a debut novel what a rollercoaster of a read. This pulled on every emotion. The writing style is also quite different from what I’m used to it leans heavily into internal monologue, focusing on the characters’ thoughts and feelings, with some verbal dialogue between the characters. But I actually loved it. It made everything feel so raw and intense.
I was hooked from the start. Julian gave me very mixed feelings. The cheating was obviously awful, and I felt so deeply for Nora. But as everything began to unravel, you start to see just how loveless their marriage really was. Watching him spiral was hard, especially with everything that followed. The fallout at work and the scandal. As much as I didn’t agree with his actions, it was still difficult to watch his life completely fall apart.
Nora is such a strong character. Growing up in a home affected by domestic violence shaped so much of who she is, and you can really feel that trauma and fear in her actions. She’s been in survival mode for so long. Her marriage with Julian felt routine she was the perfect stay at home wife, making sure everything was done but as the story unfolds and her true feelings come to light, her choices begin to make sense. I loved her character growth. Watching her go from living for others to finally making decisions for herself was so powerful and heartwarming.
Then we get to Kieran and I was obsessed. This man notices everything. He’s patient, kind, and gives her the space to come to him. The little things he does remembering her favourite flower, adjusting her hot chocolate, always seeking her out in a room completely won me over. Seeing Nora smile because of him made it all worth it. Loved the side characters and all the tough conversations.
I do wish we got a bit more closure for Julian. We know his reputation was ruined, but he was so convinced Nora would come back to him, and I was curious to see where he ended up. I also would have loved more of Kieran and Nora’s relationship, as it felt like it was only just beginning by the end but that’s the romance reader in me wanting more.
This was such a fantastic read. It felt different, emotional, and deeply explored some challenging themes in a really impactful way.

I’m diving straight into this review because I love Jennifer’s books, she always knows how to draw me in. I’m a sucker for pregnancy romances, but when you add a man who steps up and promises to do everything for her and the baby, I’m done I melt.
This is a character-driven story that really pulls on the heartstrings, with a touch of suspense. I loved them together, and the intimate moments were beautifully done. They had great chemistry, but both were also battling their own thoughts and emotions when it came to thinking about one another.
Kia is such a beautiful character and so incredibly sweet with little Melody. Their scenes made me smile. She’s such a cute kid with a bit of attitude, and Kia felt like a natural with her. Laiken is more guarded, but you can see how much he appreciates everything Kia does for him. I don’t blame him for holding back, but his inner thoughts about her had me melting. The custody moments especially got to me, and what he said in court really showed what a good man he is for that little girl.
The only thing I’ll mention is that the timing of their first kiss didn’t quite work for me. I felt like it needed a bit more buildup and tension beforehand. The relationship overall felt a little fast. I personally would have loved more of a slow burn, which would have been perfect for me.
I really enjoyed this book. I always look forward to what Jennifer writes next, and I’m already excited for the next one.

This follows Cora and James. Five years ago, everything changed after her solo trip to Europe. Now, she’s caring for her young son and her father while struggling to make ends meet. Still searching for a job, she’s offered a promising opportunity that could finally ease the financial pressure. But what happens when she comes face to face with the man who changed her life and he doesn’t remember her?
Wow, I loved this book and that plot twist was brilliant. I was genuinely shocked and did not see it coming. I’m also a sucker for a struggling single mum storyline, and this absolutely delivered.
This is a very character driven story filled with tension. Cora is such a strong, beautiful character who is doing everything she can for her family. I loved her dynamic with James as she can submit to him in a way that’s intense and captivating, but she also knows how to push back.
James is very possessive and completely drawn to Cora. I especially loved when his dominant side came out it added so much to their dynamic. Their intimate and tension-filled scenes were so well done, and I loved the element at the club where he was the only one allowed to have her. Also this man made me mad and so glad he had to work extremely hard to grovel his way back. Watching their relationship develop through all the heated moments, alongside a twist you don’t see coming, made this such an addictive read.
Lastly, the audiobook was fantastic, with dual narration. Aaron was incredible as always, and this was my first time listening to Sofia she did a brilliant job as well.
This was my first book by Jade, and I definitely need to read more of her work because I devoured this one.

This follows Lennon and Jeremiah. Lennon is a city girl who needs to lay low due to her profession and someone close to her being under investigation, so she escapes to a retreat ranch in Wyoming. There, she meets Jeremiah an ex special forces soldier turned cowboy who’s determined to figure out why she’s really there. But can she outrun the danger catching up to her?
I really enjoyed this city girl meets country boy, suspenseful small town romance. The plot was well done, and I was hooked to see how everything would unfold, especially with multiple potential situations unfolding. The ranch itself felt like such a special place, and I loved the backstory behind it how it was now run by five mates and has purpose.
Lennon and Jeremiah were fantastic together. I loved how Lennon would tempt and challenge him it added such a fun dynamic. At the same time, we got some really vulnerable moments, mental health and even dyslexia representation. Jeremiah is such an handsome character who is protective, grounded, and trying to understand Lennon, while also being drawn to her strong intoxicating personality and the mystery surrounding her. His backstory pulled on the heart strings. The plot kept me engaged the entire time, and I really liked how everything played out. The spice was also well balanced and fit well into the story.
I will say, I was a bit surprised by the reveal that Jeremiah is a virgin. Based on how he carries himself, it felt slightly unexpected and impossible. I also wish we had seen his immediate reaction when he learned more about Lennon, rather than it happening off page after he had already processed it.
I highly recommend the audiobook if you pick this up. Aiden and Rose did a fantastic job with the duet narration it really brought the story to life.
This was my first Elizabeth book, and I’m definitely interested in reading or listening to more of her work, especially since this one ended with some suspense for what’s coming next in the series.

DNF at 30% (Chapter 40). Unfortunately, this one wasn’t for me, but it might be for you. I struggle with insta love, and this leans heavily into a fated mates dynamic from the very beginning. Within the first 30%, we’re introduced to VOLIK, who is well known at the university as both a director and professor, alongside being known worldwide as a vampire. The FMC, Nix, has a background in journalism and is temporarily covering teaching a class for the rest of the semester.
From the first few chapters, he senses and smells her, and she feels that connection as well as it’s intense and overwhelming. Nix has just turned 30 and is a virgin, and because their connection is already so strong, the intimacy happens very quickly. There’s no real resistance, no slow build of tension, and no delay to the inevitable.
Unfortunately, that lack of buildup made it hard for me to connect with the relationship. As someone who doesn’t typically enjoy insta love this was tough as I didn’t feel much for the characters.
