Post from the Crown of Midnight (Throne of Glass, #2) forum
I have been struggling through this book for over a month now and just need to know… does it get better? People LOVE this series, so I keep waiting for it to improve, but right now it feels like she is just running around and doing side quests like a video game. I read the ACOTAR series and enjoyed it, but for some reason can’t get into this one! Any thoughts? Encouragement? Will it pick up and blow me away? TIA!

The plot was a little muddied to me since they were trying to balance multiple character/timelines, but it was an overall excellent read and great reminder that the cases we read about for entertainment have real, smart, complex, and feeling people behind them.

An introduction to the Horror genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.
