This book was foul and it has absolutely nothing to do with the Minotaur sexcapades. It’s actually social commentary in a way I’m probably not smart enough to understand or articulate.

The transactional nature of the ‘milking’ for the benefit of human erections was just wildly unsettling to me. Not to mention the hyper realistic representation of the job market where a woman with a masters degree completely fails to find a role in her field and an assload of student debt pushes her to take a job jerking off minotaurs because the pay is good and they have dental.

Despite the disturbingly accurate social commentary, the romance itself was very sweet. Although I wasn’t quite capable of pushing past the bovineness of it all and wasn’t uninterested in the intimacy, their relationship was still quite adorable and genuine.

The world-building is softly woven into the book in a very natural way and super intriguing.
