Went in expecting the classic structure of the main character thrown out of a familiar landcape to figure things out on their own, maybe with the companionship of another kid or friends they make along the way. But I love that the core of this is about community, about not one person (or lord) making decisions, but instead discussion, argument, and compromise. Oooh it’s so good.
