Starting the cosy season right with a cottage core staple!
The Spell Shop is a beautiful story of returning to a home without the people who make it home, finding new found family and accepting help from others. š« Definitely the perfect easy read filled with whimsical moments and mythical creatures š§āāļø

I wanted to enjoy it however it just felt slow and no development in characters or plot š

So for the most part I am an ebook reader or an audiobook reader but today I decided to read one of my paperbacks and I think I finally have figured out why I donāt love reading physical books as much and the reason is just š¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļøš¤¦š»āāļø.
Iām pretty itās just because I donāt like having to turn the book slightly left to read the left page. Right page? No problem. Left page? Slightly annoyed every time I turn the page because I have to readjust. I think if books only had words printed on that right page I would read physical books way more often. The books would be very heavy but I can just work on my arm muscles because they for sure arenāt getting worked on at a gym. šŖš¼
Anyone else like this or am I just being irrationally annoyed about the dumbest thing? Iām very okay with poeple telling me Iām crazy about this š

What's your ideal book length?
OR
If you don't care about the above, what is your ideal chapter length?
For me, I think around 400 pages is my sweet spot, and chapters between 10 and 15 pages let's you get into a nice flow without feeling like you cant take a break.
Edit: I forgot to include: what is your ideal audiobook length?
