While this wasn't my favourite Elsie Silver book, I still enjoyed it! ❤️
Nobody does slow-burn romance quite like Elsie, and the chemistry between Emmett and Julia kept me turning the pages. Their story was sweet, emotional, and full of that tension that makes you root for them from the beginning.
I won't lie though, the restrictions surrounding the show had me feeling just as frustrated as the characters at times! 😩 But maybe that's what made their connection and eventual moments together feel even more rewarding.
Not every book can become a new favourite, but Fever Dream still delivered the heartfelt romance, longing, and lovable characters I've come to expect from Elsie Silver. 💫

Is it just me who’s not really vibing with this couple? I sort of don’t understand what they see in each other, other than the physical. I feel like Elsie’s other books had more of a story or slower burn where we got to understand why the couple was a perfect fit for each other but I’m not feeling that with Fever Deam

Oft I’m glad the MMC has a bit of a backstory cause his attitude stinks 🤢
