The first half of the novel is fun and the lead protagonist is delightfully feral and unreliable. There’s a lot of intellectual-sounding, academia-esque prose crammed in clearly for ~ the vibes ~ that comes off as silly at times, but it fits Alice’s try-hard, desperate POV.
The last half-ish of the novel fell flat for me. I was hoping for a stronger conclusion to the story. It was cute, but I was anticipating something a bit more…fantastical or profound.

The Bloody Story of Shirosuna was my favorite, followed by Clubhouse. So many creepy, scary stories!
The Window Next Door was the most disturbing one by a long shot and reminded me of Fashion Model from Ito’s other works.
