How is every new book from Lauretta Hignett even better than the previous one?! This series is bananapants fun and I can't stop reading this world.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Everything is just amazing. ✨ The storytelling, the characters, the world building. The plot, the pacing. The comeuppance. The denials. The twists and turns. I devoured this book! 🐉
Marie is such a great main character, and I love how this story is unfolding. 👀 🍿 So many great secondary cast members that try to steal the show, and I will never get tired of the easter eggs.
STOP READING REVIEWS AND GO READ THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW! Like seriously. Just go read it because if you've got this far into Marie's head, you will be in for another treat. And if you haven't read the first three parts of Marie's story...what are you even doing here?

Shrunkation is one of the funnest books I've ever read - it's a perfect summer romcom!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A marriage in trouble, two characters who are both realistic and relatable, an evil villain CEO, a morally questionable scientist, a pissed off chimp, and a whole lotta laughs alongside a hilarious romantic adventure.
It's relatable if you've ever felt a disconnect with someone you love - sometimes you just ... take an axe to a bridge and then you need to rebuild it but you don't know how.
There's some heartfelt stuff, this couple is working through it - but it's not heavy as a reader. I really felt for Cat and Trey, and they're just so lovable.
The action, the humor, the relatable romance, the callbacks and references. Just everything in this book was great.

If you wanna read a romance that'll tear your heart out and make you cry on your kindle, you'll love All I Ever Desired.
This book was well-written and I really liked how the story flowed. The author is great, and I look forward to reading more from Lowie Black.
But I just can't with these two characters right now. Beck's situation is too realistic and I've watched it happen enough in real life without the guaranteed HEA.
Currently DNF at 66% because my heart can't take it rn

A Handy Duo is a sugary sweet romance between two golden retrievers set in an adorable small town, complete with chickens strolling down main street.
The two leads are super cute together - I love how they get to know each and grow their romance.
It's pretty fast paced and I enjoyed reading about this town and watch these two cutie pies fall in love

Call You Mine is a solid romance for mental health representation, and I really appreciated that about this book.
I'm also a daughter of an alcoholic, and it sure nailed some of the trauma involved in that. Everything was handled well, and it felt realistic.
If you're looking for a steamy romance where two traumatized people mend their wounds, you'll enjoy Ava and Anderson's story.
I really liked everything up until pregnancy, where it kinda fell flat for me. I felt like I would've enjoyed this book more if they had their HEA before that.

I had a blast reading The Daunted Dastard! It's a fun and lighthearted sports romance with a chaotic PA-turned-social media manager and her grumpy goalie childhood best friend.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The book had me laughing from the beginning - the whole opening was hilarious. I LOVED Kodi. She's impulsive for sure, and sometimes it backfires, but it's super relatable for me. Kodi is smart and talented, and I had so much fun with her and Olli.
Their whole relationship felt realistic - the way he handles her not recognizing him, the lead-up, and the way it finally happens was just perfect. It was a mix of hilarious and relatable cringe to watch that unfold.
Secondary characters were great - we got hints about what's to come next and I can't wait to read more about this lovable soccer team in Florida.
I read this book in a day, stayed up way too late to finish it.

I loved everything about Point of Release and waiting for the next book is gonna be so hard! It has feels and laughs and steam and spice and everything nice.

Alia and Cal are incredible mains and the secondary characters … I love them so much! They're totally relatable and absolutely adorable. I’m super intrigued by Irsia and Nyx, and I'd love books for Theo and Rohan.
Cal is a perfect cinnamon roll and I love how he was there for Alia so she could grow and they are just so perfect for each other.
Lots of laughs and good jokes in this book. Love the potato puns and how much fun this book was.
Like Cal, I knew hockey but not cricket before meeting Alia. And now I wanna learn more.
I did not wanna put this book down. Good plot, good pacing, loved it.

The Romance Loop is a super fun second chance romcom where a romance author and her sci-fi loving ex get stuck in a time loop.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this book! There’s tropes, there’s cringe, there’s cliches, there’s a curse. There’s two adorable people just trying to get back home, and figuring out what that actually means.
And references everywhere! You get a reference, and you get a reference! 🐴🧛♀️👽
It’s well-written and easy to read. I picked this up and fell into the story immediately.
If you’re looking for a light-hearted and funny romance with splashes of realism and a double shot of messy goofballs trying to work their way out of a mess of their own making, you’ll love this book.

For the Show is an adorably spicy and hilarious romance between two people who need a little push to see the best in themselves and go after what they want. ✨🔥
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved Millie and Ezra as secondary cast members in For the Plot - they had such chemistry, but the timing wasn't right. I'm so glad I got to see their second chance because they're such great characters.
The plot getting them together was chef's kiss - hilarious, slightly ridiculous, and yet I see how Ezra went down that road, and why Millie went along with it 🤷♀️ 😂
Everything about this book was great - it's fun, it's spicy, it's sweet. It's a light-hearted, easy to read book that'll have you staying up late to finish.

If you want an adorable spicy romcom with two people finding themselves and each other along the way, you'll love For the Plot. 💕🔥

This is a super sweet and light-hearted romance with banter and spice. It's full of serendipitous moments and the universe pulling strings.
Characters are lovable. Plot is over the top in a fun romcom way.
No third-act breakup - a good and realistic conflict instead that will not break your romantic heart.

Secrets Bared is a spicy & suspenseful small town romance between a woman who ✨ survives ✨ and an FBI agent who does the right thing even when it's hard.
This novel doesn't hold back on the darkness of relationships - Maggie is smart and strong, and does what she needs to get control back over her life. Her story is something that happens everyday, but not all women can make it out. ❤️🩹 Luke is one of those men who do exist in real life, but are few and far between. He struggles with the guilt of past decisions, and doesn't waiver when it counts.
Their romance is sweet (and spicy 🔥) and I love how Luke's there when she needs him, but doesn't push. He lets her heal the way she needs to.
I enjoyed getting to know Maggie and Luke, and the cozy-nosy town of Hawthorn Hills. There's a few secondary characters that I'm looking forward to reading about in the next books.

The Witch’s Daughter is a fun and medium-dark dystopian fantasy with a spicy romance between two magic-wielding wolf shifters. It’s got laughs, angst, yearning, magic, evil villains trying to destroy everything, and ass-kicking heroines with their growly, protective men.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One of my favorite things about this series is how these books flirt the line of realistic fantasy dystopia and soap opera ridiculousness. They are over the top in the best of ways, and there’s so many feels. Sometimes you’re laughing, sometimes you’re crying, sometimes you are pissed tf off at characters and-slash-or our authorly overlord.
And they’re incredibly addictive ❤️🔥 Once I start one of Heather’s books, I can’t put it down.
I loved everything about this story - even if I wanted to slap some of the characters at times. Seriously, Trish and Jaxon, I get it but come on now. World building, plot, pacing, character growth, villains and secondary characters are all great.
If you’re new to this world, you can read Fated Destinies Volume One to find out what happens before we meet Trish and Jaxon, but it’s not necessary for this story.
I was lucky enough to snag an advance copy for early review ✨

Where It Hurts is a heart-warming and emotional love story between two childhood friends who find a way to come back to each other despite their nosy small town and family secrets.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ellie's been running from everything for ten years, and tbh I totally get it. Nathan on the other hand, has been tending to rescue horses and growing up into an incredibly swoon-worthy dude. When they meet up again, sparks fly 🔥 until she finds out who he is... then the dance starts. And it is a good one 💔💝
It's got yearning, it's got some heartbreak, it's got a tough FMC and a heart-of-gold MMC, it's got character growth. Pacing is solid, plot is good. If you like small-town romances, you'll love this one.
Thank you to Julia Soren for the advance copy so I could read this early ✨
