Okay not bad!! Everything was a little jumbled in the middle and I felt like the plot was lost but it got wrapped up very nicely and it was just an overall goofy story. LOTS of just insane unnecessary sex and vulgarity in my opinion but an interesting read nonetheless.

It was meh. Nothing crazy and almost stopped reading it several times but got through and it was just okay, probably would’ve been better if I read it when I was actually in Italy.

Solid read felt like I was back in my Percy Jackson era it was great. Kinda makes me want to read more Greek histories they’re just so thrilling and full of all the magic and drama. I think I’ll appreciate the Iliad and the Odessey more now.

It was mid, probably would’ve been better if I actually focused on reading it but toward the end I was ready to be done. Also was attempting to read while abroad in Italy which probably didn’t help my case. I’m not history/english major enough to appreciate the book and all its references and imagery.

Was surprisingly good? Sometimes the enemies to lovers can be kinda cringe but honestly I think it was done well and concept was interesting. Thank you Laura for lending me this book 🫶 will have to finish the series!

It takes a genius brain to write a book like this and also one to read it and understand it. There were so many names and so many things interconnected and going on. Definitely done with high fantasy for a while because this book was A LOT. But definitely very good by the end and with everything coming full circle it was very good. There’s still a lot of unended story lines so it’ll be interesting to see if there will be a sequel series, but I do know that wouldn’t be for a while if Islington does go down that route.
