I found this book a bit repetitive. Almost as if the author expected you to put down the book for months at a time between chapters. However, the discussion of how people understood the world in the early modern period was interesting. Women murderers being to an extent more evil than men because they are considered docile. The author linking that to the present was a viewpoint I'd never considered. It was worth a read anyway.

Saw this on my facebook and intended to sent it privately to my best friend but I messed up and share it on my profile for all my FB friends to see. It became a happy accident because my book friends (whom haven't talked to in a while) engaged on the post and we had fun on roasting my chaotic evil friends.
I'm lawful evil. You?

This was beautiful and moving. Not much more I can honestly say about it. While I understand how everyone describes it as a tear jerker, it did in other ways make me feel hopeful and alive. It's a very real look at grief but also moving forward.
