This year I have been utilizing TBR prompts to help diversify my reads. I wrote a bunch of different prompts on slips of paper and then every month I pull a few and try to find books that fit the description. Super fun but also can be taxing if you’re not in the mood. I took off two months from utilizing prompts (since I used up all my prompts for the year) and I’m ready to get back into them.

Please share fun TBR prompt ideas! I am low on inspiration and would love to find some more small authors/less popular books in my search.

Examples include “read a translated book from another country”, “read a book where the Mc has a hallmark type job”, “a book with a color in the title”, etc.

There are many people on this app I have yet to meet. But unfortunately I cannot go onto everybody’s profile and see what they’re reading. So I would like to ask you: what are you reading at the moment? And how do you like it?

Bury our bones in the midnight soul: I’m liking this a lot so far, I’m 37 percent through. The writing is pleasant and smooth, but unfortunately my attention has gone to another book I’m currently reading…

As good as dead: the 3rd book in the a good girls guide to murder series. I loved the first two and finished them so fast, I devoured them lol XD I am loving this as well, unfortunately i am just a tiny bit hesitant to read more and finish because I don’t want this series to finish hehe.

The poppy war: the book that has been stealing my attention, it’s not what I expected so far, but I’m constantly at the edge of my seat in preparation for a twist to happen. I’m loving this as well

You are browsing at a bookstore and see a cover that catches your attention. You know nothing about the author or the story so you flip a third of the way into the book. You read two sentences and slam the book shut. Shelve it and walk away. What did you read?

Hey everyone! I love all the different ways you can mark a book on PB. I am so used to Goodreads where it’s TBR pretty much. It got me thinking, how do you guys decide whether a book is TBR or interested?

I noticed when perusing through others libraries that some people have an even split and then some have all books pretty much in “interested” and only what their immediate TBR is as TBR!

I usually just have everything as TBR because I plan to read it someday but I started marking a few as interested just to test it out.
