The FMC is 27 🤩 The FMC has brains in her head 🤩 The FMC doesn't swoon for every hot guy (not yet at least?) 🤩 The book takes place in space 🤩

This book is amazing so far šŸ˜šŸ”„

After thinking about it, Robert Langdon books always seem to go the same way. Somebody wants to kill him. He runs. Goes through a lot of symbolic places. Usually with a woman.

Okay, while the story is quite gripping it's quite hard to understand whom is whom, and which people belongs to which fraction, bring back glossaries and family trees as an addition to books. Overall, it's a little confusing but the mystery is what keeps me going.

A beautiful story based on the lives of family of the author about Jetti and her daughter Berta. the story takes place between the 2 world wars where we learn about the struggles and happy moments of daily live.

the book is split in 2 parts, the first concentrating on Jetti, the second on her daughter Berta. While I liked reading part 1 more then part 2, the book was really captivating. I which we would have had more time in the book with Miriam a wonderful lady guiding Jetti when she needs it most.

I would definitely recommend this book to people who like to read historical fiction

    Thoughts from 53% - part 1

I just finished part one 🄺 the heartache is real I had a hard time reading this book a few chapters in. The main character, Jetti , was having depression symptoms which was quite hard on me in my current state. So I was glad when she was getting better 😊. All the people seem like they where really nice people, both Jetti's family and the Singers family. Getting to know them through this book has been a privilege. šŸ–¤

Thoughts after reread 8 years later

I still really liked it!! So it wasn't just that I was still a teen it's actually a good book šŸ˜‰ I will admit there is a part somewhere in the middle that felt a little dull but the beginning and end are fire šŸ”„šŸ”„ PS: There is no spice so definitely safe to read for teens.
