Not sure if I like it yet. For now it seems to be too brutal for me. I just give it a few more chapters and see if that changes.

I will just DNF this one. It’s so repetitive that I do not want to pick it up. Especially knowing there is 50% of the book left. Not worth it while there are too many books out there that I’d possibly enjoy.

well that was…something! the court scene reminded me of the last episode of Seinfeld (fuck Jerry Seinfeld) where they were all put on trial. I do not dnf books but there were several times I almost put this book down, happy to be done with it. I understand why this book is important and read in high school, I just didn’t enjoy the fatphobia directed toward women & the treatment of the pup triggered me 😭

I get the idea of how meaningless life is and what this book aims for… For most parts of the book I’ve been bored. I did want to like this one but I just didn’t.
