I enjoyed this book, it was an easy read and it kept my interest. I do wish there had been more fun and humour to it, especially considering the tone of the title. I did not like the narrator, she was told up front what to expect and then complained when things didn't go her way. Personally I cannot stand people who have double standards, where everyone has to accommodate them while they don't reciprocate. I think this could have been solved if the main characters were aged up a bit. But over all it was a fun read and I look forward to reading the sequel.

OMG I finally finished it! This was a slog for me, in so much that for the majority of the story didn't reveal where it was going; like the character, I felt I was just waiting, waiting for something to happen, waiting to see where we were going, waiting for the end.

I did enjoy it, I would recommend it after Legends & Lattes, but I would preface by saying, it is a book about patience. Me personally, I don't think I was in the right frame of mind for it when I started it. Legends & Lattes does remain a favourite for me.

I love this book. A tale of a woman, struggling with her identity and finding her power. A mother, a wife, a lover and a witch.

I am enjoying cozy fantasy, it is becoming a nice change of pace.

I really enjoyed this story and the callbacks, building to the ending, it was satisfying. I enjoyed the characters and I really want a cinnamon bun and chocolate croissant.
