It has been 15 to 20 years since my Classics classes in University, I am slowly recognizing the names, slowly. 😅
But in all honesty, I just started so I have no real opinion other than I am enjoying the way the author writes.

WhitneyJane wrote a review...
I went into it knowing it was Vampires and I don't enjoy Vampire stories so I had trouble enjoying the protagonists as their morality would wane and be questioned. But that's the point afterall, so I tried to just go with it.
Structure wise, I did have issue with the majority of Alice's portion as it was constantly paused for memories of her sister, which yes, is important to her character but I was annoyed how it would hinder momentum in the story.
I did enjoy how each of the women were complicated and flawed. And as time goes on for any of the characters it has me now in hindsight questioning when they started to lose their humanity, just as Charlotte mentions in her retelling. I also enjoyed how Charlotte's section was presented as if she was telling her story so it has me questioning her truth.
As I am sitting here with my thoughts piecing together what the book means to me, and with the fact I am doing that, I can in confidence say I did enjoy this book.
