The art is stunning, the font is a little hard to read at times and the pages quality is amazing.
It’s been close to 10 years since I read the original, but I felt like a lot of stuff was missing but that could just be due to my poor memory, I’m definitely gonna pick up the original series again.

Some times ago I've tried re-reading a fantasy book from my teenage years but lo and behold, there was so much misogyny and sexism, of which I had no recollection, that I quickly got tired of rolling my eyes and dnfed it. Initially I picked it up because I wanted to come back to the universe from my memories. It was a medieval fantasy with a side of Arthurian Romance, in which elves, humans, dwarves and monsters are the four tribes of Dana, the Tuatha Dé Danann, and each tribe inherited one of the Four Treasures. In this trilogy we encounter famous names such as Morganna, Galahad, Merlin, Lancelot and Uther among others.
So now I'm trying to find a book (or several) to scratch that itch. To give you an idea of what I am looking for, it could be a retelling, an adaptation (something deeply incarnated in the style of Circe or The Song of Achilles), a book where folk tales come alive (think The Winternight Trilogy) or even a collection of tales.
Also, the Celtic world is wide, I'm open to anything Celtic: Gaulish, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish, Breton...
Thank you in advance!

So, I just started reading The way of the househusband... (๑'ᵕ'๑)
I haven't read Manga in years! And for some reason, I just really wanted to start. Especially romance! I just love seeing crushes, and relationships, and love being shown through art. It's kind of special. But as I was reading I was kind of wondering if they 'count' or rather if other readers add them towards their reading goal or books read. I know the community can be very divided on topics like this. A lot of people have the opinion that audiobooks aren't reading or shouldn't count, still!
So I'm curious! Would you, or do you, count Comics, Manga, Graphic Novels, towards your reading goal? Also please recommend Manga and Graphic Novels if you can! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و♡

Hey guys! I've recently been catching up on all my favourite cozy shows over Christmas and am currently working through one of my favourites, BBC Ghosts. My only problem is that there was only ever two books made for the show - one being a collection of letters and paintings and photos as a TV tie-in and the other being a making of. If there is anyone who can find any books like the show (i.e. cozy stories about ghosts/supernatural beings sharing places and living out simpler times while reminiscing on their incredibly mysterious and interesting historical pasts) that would be great! Some books that sort of fit the vibe (but not really) that I also love dearly: . Masters of Death by Olivie Blake . Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman . The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston
