I don't know if it's just me being irritated because I woke up with a sore throat, but I HATE. that the book is just a few pages in and so far has to remind me like three times that Maddy is dead. I GETT ITTTT 😭 Omg I got it the first time. Stop TELLING ME AGAIN on every page. 💀💀

So protagonist is (Btw this person you don't know anything about yet is dead) the protagonist is thinking about (someone died before the start of the book btw just so you know) and then (did you know this person is dead?)

Gosh! The way I relate to poppy!! Love this book so far, it’s the second book that I read from Emily Henry (beach read being the first) and I have to say that so far I’m liking this one more, which I understand is an unpopular opinion? Idk I just felt so anxious throughout the entire book of beach read, though I did really see myself in January as well.
