i loved this book so much i have no words. i fell so in love with miles, there’s something so special about someone taking care of you when you most need it, without even having to ask for it. i loved lenny for all her quirks and i saw so much of myself in her and her story. this book was written with such tenderness and care, and it truly shows. the story is genuinely remarkable, it’s not just a fun rom-com (although full of the best romance and comedy) but actually teaches real lessons that i’ll carry through my life. 11/10 no notes.

this was sooo nice! I love any book with You’ve Got Mail vibes because it's one of my favourite movies and this was no exception. The mistaken-identity concept can sometimes be executed horribly, but this was one pretty well in my opinion - just long enough with the misunderstanding so it wasn’t frustrating or irritating. I loved the queer & mental health representation, the characters were so wonderfully written, each with their own stories and arcs! Yael and Ravi were two of the best characters I’ve read in romance books, just flawed enough to be realistic but not like actually annoying people lol. The writing was pretty good, I liked how the emails were written especially - realistic conversations rather than being overly cheesy or romantic. Overall, this was a wonderful read and I look forward to reading more books by Rachel Runya Katz!

i absolutely adored this one! Picked it up with no expectations, but it turned out to be such a warm, well-thought romance! I loved the characters so much (need Andrew Garfield to play Jonah ASAP) I loved the portrayal of sisterhood it was so personal & relatable for me, and the plot was very interesting, especially because it was kind of new to me, i didn’t know much about academic and their struggles, so that was refreshing to see! AND THE FOOTNOTES!! what a brilliant idea absolutely loved it

i really wanted to love this as much as everyone else but it just wasn’t for me. too much miscommunication, i didn’t really like the characters very much, & the third act breakup was unnecessary. the plot kinda fell flat for me, although i liked reading about dani’s story and struggles. overall it was fun to read despite the flaws!
