Just a fun question on my mind! I have plenty 5 stars books but I'm definitely not looking forward to rereading some of them lol. Be it 'cause of angst or the massive character developement đââď¸

This book broke my heart the many times I borrowed it from my school library as a kid. All things considered, it's a fantastic introduction to the horrors of WWII for middle grade and mostly respectful of Sadako's legacy. This would be a perfect 5 for me if it didn't take liberties with the historical context and if it was written by a Japanese author, but alas.
