Itās midnight and I just finished it. I have thoughts. So many thoughts. It was compelling enough to read in one sitting, but I did not enjoy it. It was grotesque but I enjoyed that, it was just ā¦. Odd
Like, Iām a lesbian but everything from this man from the start was screaming NO NO NO ! So many red flags he was basically a red tapestry.
Full review to come!

Hey all. This book has been on my TBR since it came out and I'm thinking of picking it up for Halloween. I love horror, especially body horror and psychological, messed up, Gothic type stuff, however I do not like excessive blood or slashers. Lots of books being released now have content warnings which are very helpful, but I was wondering if anyone who read it could tell me exactly how bad it is, and if it's worth a read? Lastly, for refrence, I'm fine with any kind gross stuff, body horror etc. and medium violence but I really don't like throat cutting or gutting scenes! And the goreyest books I've read so far that I enjoyed are Let The Right One In and IT. I DNFd Ninth House (but might finish at a later date) because I thought the bloodiness in the first 3rd was a bit over the top. Can anyone help me out?

Wow. What a book. I read it mostly in one day in a feverish haste. It really gripped its hooks - or thorns - into me. I can see how the authorās struggle with autism (well, how people treated them because they have autism) was woven into this novel. Itās a gripping, haunting, tangle of a novel and was a thrilling read.
Full review coming shortly, I just had to say something as i just finished it and am left stunned!
