This was really fun, reminded me a lot of Butcher and Blackbird and those kinds of reads. I thouroghly enjoyed both of the main characters. It was quite fast pacing, which made it really bingeable, however it relationship moved a bit to quick for me.
All in all really enjoyable and fun, perfect for spooky season.

This was great, really good. That epilogue should be illegal. In the first two in this series i struggled with getting attached to the characters, but this one did it and now i kind of want to go back and reread them since i believe that this could be a 5-star series for me. Im still unsure if im going to read the rest of the shadowhunter books.
The worldbuilding and writing in this is great, and the prose is so beautiful. I still hate a love triangle, which is probably why i did not enjoy this series that much.

This was just fine, nothing special. The humor was not as good as the first one, and i did not believe in the relationship. I felt like it moved so fast compared to the amount of times the main characters met.
I liked Reginald a lot more in My Roommate is a Vampire than this, he mostly felt insufferable and unfortunately his humor did not clash with mine. Amelia was just fine to me. I did like that Reggie liked Amelias job as much as he did, and that he supported her so much.
The whole plot with the collective was not really enjoyable for me, if felt undeveloped somehow.
I will probably still read the next one to keep up with the series.
