I love the art style of this graphic novel. I love how the magic was depicted, and the characters really came to life in each scene. I liked the characters: Rosefinch, Morgan, and Thierry. I wanted a bit more depth to their characters. They all work well together to solve the curse. I also liked the storyline of the curse and Rosefinch's past. I wanted a bit more depth, too. More tension, more complications. This graphic novel also includes LGBTQIA+ rep, and I love that for a YA graphic novel.

I didn't want this book to end, and now, I need the sequel to come out tomorrow. This book is fantastic. It has a new spin on dragons, which is refreshing since there are so many dragon books out there. The magic of the Etherlight, Ethershade, sigils, and the Font is also original. The world lore is rich and deep with probably more to uncover in the second book. I love our trio of characters. Isolda is complicated. She is fierce and strong but has her own insecurities. Saipha is a great best friend character, and her character is well-rounded. Lucan is a complicated mystery. The plot is engaging. There are mysteries to solve and plenty of trials throughout the Tribunal, so if you like tests and challenges, you love this book. I really can't wait until the next book is out, and I know I'll use the audiobook as a reread at some point.

I love being back in the Crowns of Nyaxia world. Mische's book continues to expand on the world and the narrative of the gods and goddesses who rule over the world. Her current predicament has her helping Asar bring back the god of death. So, the reader gets to learn about the death of the god as well as how other gods/goddesses act. I liked the journey through the underworld and the elements of the ritual.
I like Mische. She is always a ray of sunshine and brings humor to the novel. We get to learn more about her past, which is tragic and traumatizing. We also get to know Asar, a new character from the House of Shadow. He also has a tragic past as well as interesting magic that we haven't seen before. Luce, Asar's dog companion, is my favorite side character. It's adorable.
I was entertained by the plot. It ebbed and flowed between fights and the mission. The ending is a bit wild and a cliffhanger.
