Still confused about how I feel about this series.

I devoured this book, looked forward to picking it up every evening and train journey. I chuckled a few times and was immersed in the world. LOVE Nate. But there's still something jarring about the story structure and Stevie's character to me. I'm also a bit frustrated about this being a 5 (eventually 7??) mystery book series. I think I'd rather have it as one book, or even a trilogy. Not sure I want to commit to the whole thing, but I guess I'll read the next one and see how it goes.
