I don't know about this one. It feels different than other books in this series, more like an opinion piece than an introduction to a concept.

i typically dont log books i consider nothing burgers because i simply dont have much to say about them. but this book glazes billionaires?? not even like those billionaire romances do where its purely fictional, the author name drops steve jobs (or another famous billionaire. its been a while, I randomly remembered I read this). in this economy?

Itās fucking pierogi, not perogies. There is an āiā not an āeā and itās already a plural. Probably no one else cares, but it always makes me so mad. Polish not being butchered challenge level: impossible. Do better.

Iām looking to purchase an ereader because I donāt have a lot of physical space and want to use it for books I want to try reading but donāt necessarily want in my physical book collection.
Iāve seen great things about Kobo ereaders. I really donāt want to support Amazon more than I have to, but wanted folks thoughts on kindles as well?

I'm not american and we don't learn much about the Jim Crow era in school. I think I've heard "the birth of a nation" mentioned maybe twice in passing and I'm kinda ashamed of these holes in my historical knowledge. I found this book to be very unique in style and I'll definitely research the references made here later. However, the length of this book left me wanting more. I think some plot points could be fleshed out more with like an additional 100 pages.

I hate soccer but this was super cute. I especially loved Leticia's character. It took me a while to truly get into the story and some parts felt very clichƩ but overall it's a good book
