i never truly know how to put into words how much i love amelie’s books, how much her writing speaks to me, how much i love her world, and how much these stories truly mean to me. this is no different, unfortunately—i don’t think i’ll ever be able to sum up my feelings in a way that i can get y’all to understand them, so please enjoy my incoherency and sobbing about cameron and natalie, and pls keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times. thank you 🤝

and i am in love with natalie. she learned to put herself out there again, and realized that it can bring you the absolute best things in life, even when they’re terrifying. the best mom and the best sister who found the one who can just let her put things down sometimes, so she’s not carrying them constantly, and know that she’s still the baddest to ever do it, because asking for and accepting help doesn’t make you weak 🥹

and my sweet sweet baby chloe. is she real? no. am i acknowledging that? absolutely not. i am wrapping her in my lil cocoon of protectiveness for eternity so that she keeps her joy and ability to love and live without limits forever.

the cutest family of all time. the sweetest families of all time merging together to become the most iconic family of all time, all intertwined and brining us everything we ever wanted. i quite literally never want to stop reading about the londons and the briggs’ and their friends. immediately going back to reread the rest of wildflower over and over again 🙂‍↕️

my sports romances keep making me cry and i really don’t know how to handle this

this was so heartwarmingly, soul-achingly beautiful. i have said it before (about spiral), and i will say it again: “god bless bal khabra and her toothachingly sweet, sizzlingly spicy, heartbreakingly healing hockey romances.” dylan and sierra healed me like maybe no other couple ever has

i genuinely don’t know how bal khabra achieves this, but she was rollercoastering my emotions around in the best of ways. i’d be crying and then boom, dying of he spice. or i’d be dying of the spice, and then boom, i’m a sobbing emotional, mess. tears by my body to tears by sabrina carpenter, in the snap of her fingers

i will be thinking about dylan and sierra for days, weeks, and months to come. seeing dylan love her black cat, wounded energy and tell sierra it was okay to be “mean,” and it was okay to be harsh or not all sunshine and rainbows, and it was okay to have walls and anxiety and ptsd because he absolutely, no matter what, loved her all the more for it??? it feels like my soul got handed a mug of hot chocolate and cuddled up in a blanket on the couch 😭 and for sierra to turn around and be able to help dylan learn that lesson for himself, too???? i truly cannot think of two characters who deserve the happiness and love they show to each other more

this was a lovely lil jaunt into an extremely intriguing world of magic, ancient gods, elite warriors, and kingdoms in peril. i didn’t ever think i’d be describing a jaunt into those areas as lovely, but when that jaunt takes inspiration from legally blonde, you know it won’t be anything else 🙂‍↕️

i really, really enjoyed this story. clía was such a wholesome heroine that you can’t help but cheer for her—she is extremely reminiscent of elle woods in all the best ways, and that was going to make her lovable no matter what. the loyalty and the idealism that she goes through life with can’t help but influence you to maybe, just maybe, feel the same way. and her hurts and insecurities are as relatable as they come. she’s a heroine for the people, if ever there was one

and ronan? CHRONIC PAIN BESTIES STAND UP 🫡 honestly the rep of chronic pain and how he lives with it and through it and because of it made ronan one of my favorite heroes i’ve read this year. but beyond that, his loyalty, his devotion, his care for the people around him were so evident in everything he did. sweet, guilty ronan—of course he was going to fall for the sunshine girl with the heart of gold to match his own. they are everything that my favorite pairings always are
